Description
Exo Terra Turtle Clean 4fl oz is a powerful solution designed to break down organic waste in the water components of reptile habitats, such as turtle tanks, snake water dishes, or amphibian enclosures. This product effectively minimizes solid waste and food residues caused by overfeeding, enhancing the performance of filters by promoting the growth of beneficial bacteria. Adding this solution helps diminish unpleasant smells from decomposing matter, as the broken-down waste serves as nourishment for the helpful bacteria introduced.
Formulated with four specialized strains of micro-organisms, it targets the degradation of proteins, lipids, starches, and specific hydrocarbons. These are safe, Class 1 micro-organisms, deemed non-pathogenic, including Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, Bacillus subtilis (two strains), and Bacillus licheniformis.
