Description
UNS Bonsai 015 features a thick-trunked, mature tree design topped with an expansive, wide canopy. Handcrafted by artisans to mimic the statue of a woodland giant, this style can serve as a centerpiece for a forest-themed planted aquarium. This aquarium bonsai tree pairs beautifully with aquatic mosses and epiphytic plants like Bucephalandra and Anubias to create a sprawling, dense roof of greenery. Available in three sizes, Bonsai 015 will accommodate a range of tank dimensions. The tree can be used alone or in combination with your favorite aquarium stone to create a unique aquascape layout ready for planting.
Key Features & Important Notes
Each tree is a unique, one-of-a-kind sculpture hand-assembled from natural driftwood. Because no two pieces are identical, you will receive a tree with its own distinct character, texture, and branch placement.
Aquarium wood serves as a vital biological filter. Its porous surface supports beneficial bacteria growth and provides a natural foraging ground for shrimp and small fish to graze on biofilm.
This wood is naturally buoyant and requires a thorough soak or boil to sink. For an immediate setup, secure the base to a heavy aquarium stone or use aquarium-safe glue to anchor it in place.
