Description
This Herm Sprenger® Nathe Gag Bit has a 20 mm flexible mullen mouth and 70 mm stainless steel rings. The high-quality thermoplastic mouthpiece has a stainless steel core. The bit design acts on the mouth, poll and corners of the mouth. If a gag effect is used, it puts added pressure on the corners of the mouth. Rings allow use of one or two pairs of reins.
This bit is commonly suitable for technically demanding passages on the course, especially for horses that pull or lean on the bit and is best used with the sensitive rider’s hand. Bit guards, included, protect the lips.
Benefits of the thermoplastic mouthpiece:
Appreciated by sensitive and mouth-sensitive horses.
Promotes bit acceptance.
Excellent tolerance and hypoallergenic.
Food-safe, solvent-free, no plasticizers.
Smooth surface with no eraser-effect.
Temperature-neutral and highly flexible when cold.
Dimensionally stable; high mechanic resistance.
