ITC Reefculture PARwise PRO Light Meter
The PARwise PRO is an advanced light meter for optimal settings (intensity, color spectrum, photoperiod). It uses cPUR technology to measure the intensity and spectrum that corals can utilize.
Understanding Lighting with the PARwise PRO
The PARwise PRO is an advanced light meter that revolutionizes aquarium lighting management. Its innovative cPUR technology precisely measures both intensity and spectrum to determine exactly what light corals can utilize. This sophisticated yet user-friendly device provides deep insights into your lighting conditions, allowing you to perfectly fine-tune settings.
It is compatible with Android mobile devices supporting USB OTG, PC, and MAC platforms. The companion software runs on Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge browsers (both free). Unfortunately, iPhone and iPad compatibility is not yet available.
Product Highlights:
Determines optimal light settings, including intensity, color spectrum, and photoperiod
Features cPUR technology that measures both intensity and spectrum
Extended spectral range detecting UV-A and NUV wavelengths from 350nm to 1100nm
New Pigment Analysis section displays an absorption spectrum graph and percentages for Peridinin, Fucoxanthin, Chlorophyll A, B, C, D, and Beta-carotene to aid in understanding photosynthetic efficiency.
Includes specific calibrations for air, freshwater, and saltwater environments
Can detect heat waste and wasted energy within the IR range
Includes YPF measurement (cPUR equivalent for plants)
Helps achieve perfect growth rates by measuring correct wavelengths, intensity, and duration
Compensates for the human eye’s inability to assess light levels and colors accurately
Valuable tool for determining optimal coral placement when adding new specimens
Worth the investment if it saves just one coral
