The texture of the leaves are a sight to behold with pictures not doing it justice. This is one of my absolute favorite plants. It does go through a die back period. Which means it typically grows for 7 or 8 months, then dies back after flowering etc. Then it comes back 1-2 months later in the aquarium. A great plant to have! However, the leaves are delicate and it is common for them to be damaged in transit. More leaves will grow within a week or two after being planted in an aquarium. Directions 1. Place the bulb on top of the substrate or about halfway buried until you see some growth. It will send roots down into the substrate to hold itself in place. Do not bury the entire bulb or else the plant may suffer.
