Palm-style form factor provides a secure, controlled grip during wet grooming without slipping. Suitable for use with shampoos, conditioners, gels, and leave-in conditioning products in a single tool. Durable nylon pin construction built for repeated professional-grade use without pin bending or breakage under normal grooming conditions. Compact and lightweight design suitable for home grooming and professional salon use. Color: Black; clean, neutral aesthetic for professional grooming environments. Material and Construction / Formula The Bass Brushes Shampoo Brush features a non-cushion palm-style brush body with professional-grade nylon pins. The non-cushion construction is the defining design feature – without a cushioned base, there is no cavity for water to become trapped during wet grooming, allowing the brush to dry fully and completely between uses. This reduces the risk of mildew or bacterial buildup associated with cushion-based brushes used in wet environments. The nylon pins are designed for durability and effective product distribution through the coat. The palm-style body provides a flat, stable grip surface for controlled application during bathing. Usage, Application, and Frequency Guidance Wet the dog’s coat thoroughly and apply shampoo or conditioner. Use the Bass Shampoo Brush to work the product through the coat using the nylon pins, massaging from the back of the neck toward the tail and down the legs. The pin design helps distribute product evenly from the coat surface down to the skin. Rinse the coat thoroughly after lathering. For leave-in conditioners or gels, apply the product and use the brush to distribute evenly through the coat before styling or drying. Rinse the brush under running water after each use and allow to air dry completely. Use as part of each bathing session. Functional Use Brush / Comb The Bass Shampoo Brush functions as a wet grooming pin brush optimized for shampoo and conditioner application during bathing. The nylon pins penetrate the coat to distribute product from the surface to the skin, improving lather coverage and rinse efficiency. The non-cushion design makes it a more hygienic option than cushion-based brushes for repeated wet use, as it dries completely between sessions. Suitable for use in professional grooming salons and home bathing routines for dogs of all coat types and sizes. Safety, Usage, and Care Guidance Avoid applying excessive pressure on sensitive skin areas, particularly around the face, ears, and joints. Do not use on open wounds, broken skin, or areas with active irritation. Inspect nylon pins before each use for bending or breakage; discontinue use if pin integrity is compromised. Rinse thoroughly after each use to remove shampoo, conditioner, and hair residue. Store in a clean, dry location to maintain hygiene between grooming sessions. Keep out of reach of children when not in use. Cleaning and Maintenance Rinse the brush thoroughly under running water after each grooming session to remove shampoo, conditioner, hair, and debris from the nylon pins. The non-cushion design allows water to drain freely and the brush to dry completely – no disassembly required. Allow to air dry fully before storing. Periodically remove any accumulated hair from the pin bed by hand or with a cleaning comb. Store in a clean, dry location. Do not submerge in harsh cleaning solutions that may degrade the nylon pin material over time.
