Description
Product Overview
The Chihiros Nova 1 LED Light is a high-output pendant fixture engineered to deliver exceptional light penetration for deep aquariums and high-tech aquascapes. Packing 126 watts of energy into a compact square footprint, this localized light source utilizes 61 high-density LEDs to project 3,800 lumens straight down through the water column. Designed to overcome the shadow limitations of traditional linear light strips, the Nova 1 produces extreme PAR levels at the substrate level to support demanding carpeting plants, vibrant red stems, and dense hardscape layouts while casting a natural sun-shimmer effect across your tank.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. What size tank is a single Chihiros Nova 1 LED light suitable for?
A single Nova 1 pendant is optimized to cover a footprint up to 24″ x 24″ (60 x 60 cm) with high PAR intensity. For longer aquariums (such as 36-inch or 48-inch tanks), using two or more Nova 1 units spaced evenly will ensure complete edge-to-edge light coverage without dim spots.
2. Can I control the Chihiros Nova 1 away from home?
Out of the box, the light connects directly to the My Chihiros app via Bluetooth within short range. To control schedules, color spectrums, and power levels remotely over Wi-Fi when away from home, you can pair the fixture with an optional Chihiros Wi-Fi Hub.
3. Does the Chihiros Nova 1 come with mounting legs or a stand?
No. The Nova 1 is engineered purely as a hanging pendant fixture. You will need to pair it with the dedicated Chihiros Nova 1 Mounting Arm Stand to secure it above your rimless tank.
