Description
Many believe reptiles cannot see red light, but this is a misconception. Nocturnal reptiles don’t require extra light as they see well in darkness, while diurnal reptiles may experience disturbed sleep due to red light exposure. Nighttime lighting can also interfere with your reptile’s natural circadian rhythm.
If your reptile needs additional warmth during cooler nighttime temperatures, consider using the Exo Terra Ceramic Heater as a better option for maintaining optimal conditions.
