Description
Despite common misconceptions, reptiles are able to perceive red light. For nocturnal species, this is not needed as they navigate well in darkness, while for diurnal reptiles, it might interfere with their sleep patterns. Offering light during the night could also disturb your reptile’s natural day-night cycle.
If your reptile requires a heat source at night due to low temperatures, we suggest opting for the Exo Terra Ceramic Heater as a better alternative.
