Material and Construction
The Faball Earth features a cotton fabric exterior that provides a soft, comfortable feel for small dogs during carry and play. The interior is constructed from TPR (thermoplastic rubber), which forms the squeaker core and provides the toy’s structural integrity. The combination of a soft outer layer and a firm inner core gives this fetch toy a light to moderate duty durability rating. It is appropriate for gentle to moderate chewers but is not designed for aggressive or power chewing.
Texture, Size, and Play Duration Guidance
The toy has a soft, fabric feel on the exterior with a firm, squeezable TPR core. At 3 inches in all dimensions, it is sized appropriately for small dog breeds and provides a comfortable grip for carrying, tossing, and fetching. Play duration will vary based on your dog’s energy level and chew strength. Dogs who enjoy fetch, toss, and squeaky play will find extended engagement from this toy. Monitor closely during chewing sessions to ensure the fabric exterior remains intact.
Play Style and Functional Use
The Faball Earth is primarily a fetch and toss toy. The round ball shape rolls and bounces to encourage active chase behavior, while the TPR squeaker core rewards engagement with auditory feedback. The soft cotton fabric exterior makes it comfortable for small dogs to carry and mouth between fetch repetitions. This toy is best used during supervised interactive play sessions rather than extended unsupervised chewing.
Safety, Usage, and Care Guidance
Moderate supervision is recommended during all play sessions with this toy. Inspect the fabric exterior regularly for signs of fraying, tearing, or wear. If the fabric becomes significantly damaged or the TPR core is exposed in a way that poses a risk, discontinue use and replace promptly. Ensure the 3-inch size is appropriate for your dog to prevent any risk of ingestion. Store in a clean, dry location when not in use.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Spot clean with mild soap and water as needed. Use a damp cloth to wipe down the fabric exterior and rinse thoroughly. Allow the toy to air dry fully before returning it to your dog. Avoid submerging in water or machine washing, as this can affect the fabric integrity and internal squeaker.
