Description
Enhance your arid or desert terrarium with the natural beauty of Galapagos Cholla Wood, a perfect blend of functionality and aesthetics. This wood serves as an ideal basking spot, a cozy hideaway, or a climbing structure for your pet to explore and enjoy!
Derived from the skeletal remains of a desert cactus, Galapagos Cholla Wood offers an authentic and striking addition to terrariums for desert reptiles or invertebrates. It also doubles as a unique, natural perch for birds, adding versatility to its use.
Additionally, this wood is suitable for aquariums! Its porous, fibrous structure is a magnet for shrimp and aquatic microfauna, while providing a stable base for aquatic plants to root. The natural tannins in cholla wood help in gently lowering the pH of aquarium water over time.
