Description
The GE Gator Gear Shear Curved 8 in is a curved grooming shear from Geib, sized at 8 inches and built for pets. It sits inside Geib’s Pro Equipment & Tools shears lineup, the category of tool a groomer reaches for during a standard grooming routine rather than a specialty or occasional-use piece. Being curved, the blade is shaped to follow rounded lines instead of cutting straight across, which is the defining trait that separates a curved shear from a straight one. It is built as a single, dedicated tool with one clear role in a grooming kit.Key Benefits Curved 8-inch blade, shaped to follow the rounded lines of a coat instead of taking a straight, hard-edged cut across it. The 8-inch size is a manageable length built for detail work, where steady, controlled movement matters more than speed. Part of Geib’s Gator Gear line, positioned within the Pro Equipment & Tools shears category made specifically for pets. A curved shear is the tool groomers reach for when rounding and blending, exactly where a straight shear would leave a harder edge. Built specifically for pets and the everyday grooming needs that come with regular coat upkeep and finishing work. Pairs naturally with straight shears and thinning shears, rounding out a complete grooming shear set rather than standing alone. A dedicated pet grooming shear, not a household pair of scissors pressed into service for a job it was never built for. Suited to professional groomers working through a full daily schedule as well as pet parents who handle grooming at home. Falls under both the Shears and Pro Equipment & Tools categories, tool groupings built specifically around pets. One clear job, curved shaping, handled from start to finish by a single dedicated 8-inch tool. If your grooming kit already includes straight shears or clippers, the GE Gator Gear Shear Curved 8 in from Geib covers the curved, rounded work those tools are not built for. It is a focused, single-purpose addition to any pet grooming shear collection, whether you are working through a professional grooming schedule or handling grooming at home, and it slots directly into Geib’s Pro Equipment & Tools shears lineup alongside the rest of your kit.
