The formula is designed to penetrate the coat during the conditioning step of the bathing process, restoring moisture and improving coat manageability after shampooing. Its concentrated formulation supports dilution for use across different coat types and conditioning intensities, making it adaptable to the specific needs of each dog. The formula is classified as heavy duty, reflecting its suitability for repeated professional use in high-volume grooming environments where consistent coat conditioning is required. Usage, Application, and Frequency Guidance Apply Ikaria Retreat Conditioner to a clean, wet coat after shampooing. Distribute the formula evenly through the coat, working from the skin outward to ensure full coverage. Allow the conditioner to penetrate for the recommended contact time before rinsing thoroughly. For heavily damaged or dry coats, a longer contact time may improve conditioning results. The formula may be diluted prior to application depending on coat type and the level of conditioning required. Frequency of use depends on the dog’s coat condition and grooming schedule – regular conditioning after each bath supports ongoing coat health and manageability. Functional Use Coat Cleaning and Conditioning Ikaria Retreat Conditioner functions as a rinse-out deep conditioning treatment applied after shampooing in the bathing step of the grooming process. It works to restore moisture and softness to the coat, improving manageability for the drying and finishing stages of the groom. The formula rinses out fully and is not designed as a leave-in product. It is most effective when used consistently as part of a complete bathing routine for dogs requiring regular coat conditioning and hydration support. Safety, Usage, and Care Guidance Use under appropriate grooming supervision, particularly for dogs with sensitive or reactive skin Avoid contact with eyes during application; rinse immediately if contact occurs Do not use on irritated, broken, or inflamed skin unless confirmed safe for that condition Follow proper grooming technique to ensure even application and complete rinsing of the conditioning formula Store in a clean, dry location away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures Cleaning and Maintenance Secure the gallon container cap tightly after each use to prevent contamination and formula degradation. Store upright in a stable, temperature-controlled environment. Rinse any dispensing tools used with warm water after each session. Do not mix with other conditioner formulas in the same container.
