A double ear headstall is a style of bridle commonly used in Western riding that features two ear loops, or “ears,” designed to hold the headstall in place behind the horse’s ears. This design provides functionality and style, offering several benefits for horse and rider. The two ear loops help evenly distribute pressure and keep the headstall securely in place, especially during movement. This is particularly useful for horses that may shake their heads or rub against objects.
