Mixing & Usage Instructions
Prepare Water: Fill a clean container with reverse osmosis/deionized (RO/DI) water.
Add Salt: Add ½ cup of Syn-Biotic Sea Salt per 1 gallon of water (always add salt into water, never water onto dry salt).
Mix: Agitate continuously until fully dissolved. At 77°F (25°C), target a specific gravity of 1.025 – 1.027 (35 ppt).
Use Immediately: The saltwater is ready for use as soon as the salt is completely dissolved.
Important Notes:
Initial Cloudiness: A slight, temporary cloudiness upon mixing is normal—this indicates the synbiotic additives and beneficial bacterial strains are activating.
Conductivity Readings: Freshly mixed Syn-Biotic saltwater may test roughly 10% lower on conductivity meters than actual salinity due to the presence of organic prebiotic compounds. Use a calibrated refractometer or optical hydrometer for precise salinity measurement.
