Description
Many believe reptiles can’t see red light, but this is a misconception. Nocturnal reptiles don’t need it as they see well in darkness, while for diurnal reptiles, red light can disturb their sleep patterns. Nighttime lighting might also interfere with their natural circadian rhythm.
If your reptile requires a heat source at night due to low temperatures, consider getting the Zoo Med Repti Basking Spot and the Zoo Med Ceramic Infrared Heat Emitter bulbs individually from ReptileSupply.com.
