Description
The Sera Internal Filter L150 is an efficient air-driven sponge filter designed for aquariums. Operating as a mammoth or airlift pump, it uses an air pump to push air through a hose into the standpipe, pulling aquarium water upward. As the water returns, it passes through a finely meshed sponge, offering an excellent surface for mechanical filtration. This sponge also supports the growth of nitrifying bacteria essential for breaking down pollutants. Perfect for nurturing larvae and juvenile fish, this filter prevents them from being sucked into standard filters due to their tiny size and unique swimming patterns.
